Monsoon Remote Control Monitor (AMRC)
Angus Monsoon Range
Angus Monsoon is a premium range of approved monitors and nozzles, designed and built for fire protection use in the harshest of environments, where demanding specifications combined with rugged materials of construction are paramount to provide longevity of service alongside powerful, uncompromising performance
Monsoon Remote Control Monitor
AMRC is a fully electric remote-controlled monitor with a single water way body with flows up to 20000 lpm (5200 gpm) and may be base flanged 3”, 4”, 6” or 8” UNI or ANSI. Horizontal / Vertical movements driven by electric actuators certified to ATEX (or IECEx) suitable for installation within hazardous areas classified ATEX zone 1 G and zone 2 1 D applications – with IP 67 rating. The AMRC is to be used with a combination of the below control/command options:
Monsoon Main Control Module (AMMCM)
These panels are used to remotely control all movements of the AMRC monitors, including the automation of the water and foam isolation valves.
Local Push Button remote control and power unit to be used in hazardous location with ATEX and IP 67 rating. Can be used to control multiple monitors and can be linked to a Podium unit in a safe location to provide multiple control locations.
Desktop/Podium remote control and power unit for safe operation location with IP 55 rating. Can be used as the master control panel or as a slave panel. Typical Joy Stick and push button monitor control configurations.
Monsoon Monitor Interface Box (AMMIB)
The AMMIB is specifically designed to power remote controlled monitors (AMRC) that permit the composition of various control architectures for the monitor system. Construction suitable for installation within either Safe Areas or in Classified Hazard areas
Monsoon Valve Interface Box (AMVIB)
The AMVIB is to be used in conjunction with Main Control Module (AMMCM). It is specially developed for the power supply and control of deluge and isolation valves. Construction suitable for installation within either Safe Areas or in Classified
Monsoon Wireless Unit Kit (AMWK)
The AMWK is a further device used specifically to control AMRC monitors together with the opening and closing of their isolation valves in a remote application by use of fibre optic technology - options allow for the receiver and the transmitter installation in safe or hazardous areas in according to ATEX or IECEx directive
Optional Voltage, Phasing and Hertz cycles available.
